Privacy Policy
Vialmate for iPhone and Android · Effective 14 October 2026
Short version. What you enter in Vialmate is stored on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on the free cloud backup, which keeps a copy under your account so you can restore it on a new phone. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell or share your information.
Who we are
Vialmate is developed and operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], Almaty, Kazakhstan (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@vialmate.app.
What the app stores, and where
To work, the app keeps the information you enter in a database on your device:
- compounds you add (their names);
- protocols: dose, schedule, reminder times and notes;
- vials: contents, water added, mixing date and notes;
- your dose log: when each dose was taken or skipped, the dose, syringe units and notes;
- settings, such as your default syringe.
Unless you turn on cloud backup or export your history, this information never leaves your device, and we have no copy of it.
What we don’t do
- No account is required to use the app. An account is only needed for the optional cloud backup.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools.
- We never sell, rent or share your information, and we never use it for marketing or data mining.
Notifications
Dose reminders are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. The app does not use push notification services and sends no notification data to us or anyone else. You can turn reminders off at any time in your device settings.
Exports
When you export your history, the app creates a CSV or PDF file on your device and opens the system share sheet. Where the file goes (for example, email or a cloud drive) is your choice and is governed by the service you pick.
Device backups
Your phone’s own backup (for example, iCloud Backup or Google’s device backup), if you have it turned on, may include the app’s data. Those backups are provided by Apple or Google under their privacy terms and your device settings, not by us.
Cloud backup (optional, free)
Cloud backup is off until you sign in under Settings → Cloud backup. When you sign in:
- What is stored: your email address and account ID, and a copy of the records listed above (compounds, protocols, vials, your dose log and notes), with the time each was created, changed or deleted.
- Why: only to keep a copy you can restore, and to keep your devices in sync. Nothing else.
- Where: with our hosting provider, Supabase, in its data center in the United States (East US, North Virginia). Supabase stores and processes the data on our behalf and is not allowed to use it for its own purposes.
- Security: data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by the provider. Access rules on the server let each account read and change only its own records. Your sign-in session on the phone is stored encrypted.
- Who can access it: you, through the app. As the operator we have administrative access to the database to run the service; we access it only to provide support you ask for, to fix technical problems, or if the law requires it.
- Sign-in emails: the 6-digit sign-in code is sent to your email address by our email provider.
- How long: until you delete your account. Settings → Cloud backup → Delete account permanently deletes your account and its cloud copy from the live database right away. Signing out keeps the copy so you can sign in again later.
Paid features
Paid features are not available yet. Before we offer them, we will update this policy to describe what purchase information they involve.
Health information
Information about doses and medications can be sensitive. It is never used for advertising, marketing or profiling, never sold, and never shared with third parties except the service providers that store it for your cloud backup.
Consumer health data (Washington, Nevada and similar laws)
If you turn on cloud backup, the dose and medication information you enter is consumer health data. We collect it only from you, only with your consent (given when you sign in to cloud backup), and only to provide the backup. It is shared only with the service providers that process it for us (Supabase for storage). We do not sell it. You can see and export it at any time (History → Export), withdraw your consent and have it deleted (Delete account), or contact us at support@vialmate.app with any request about your data.
Children
Vialmate is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Your choices
- Delete everything on the phone at any time: Settings → Delete all data. Uninstalling the app also removes its data from your device.
- Delete your cloud copy and account: Settings → Cloud backup → Delete account.
- Export your records first if you want to keep a copy: History → Export.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects what information leaves your device or how cloud backup works, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
